I'm publishing a news article at school and haven't decided whether I want it on the internet or not. Obviously the title of my article is "Women in the Workforce," which is a touchy subject for me. There are so many careers I would love to persue (photography being one of those) but I am unsure about how to approach them. Drafting is one class I'm majoring in right now, I enjoy designing houses and doing interior design. Most look at engineering and architecture as a "man's" field of work, though there are some women in that area. This article mentions Hillary Clinton trying to persue a "man's job," and facts on women working globally. Also, it brings up women in the military, and how women are making history in ways people never thought could be possible.

The only thing I'm asking for is support, from both men and women. I'm asking that you support my article, my views, and women in general. I want my country and others like mine to give the women the privelige of getting paid equal wages instead of lower than men.

So now I turn to you, I'm dedicating as much time as I can for who knows how long to help other women get this issue recognized. There are laws specifically stating that no-one can be refused a job by discrimination, but should there be a law forcing equal pay? Should women with equal if not more knowledge and experience be paid just as much as a man for the same job? Please let me know your feelings towards this issue, whether you are for or against my statements made. I want to publish my article on dA, but I wont unless I know that someone will be there to help prove my points and their own.
